Originally conceived of as a reusable and cheaper means of space travel, the Space Shuttle was a terrifically complex feat of engineering which, amongst other things, built the International Space Station and launched the Hubble telescope.

Our design shows space shuttle Discovery in flight. The stats below it refer to: OV103 – Discovery was the third Orbiting Vehicle (or shuttle) to be built.  M39 – it successfully flew 39 missions, more than any other shuttle. 84/11 – Discovery first flew in 1984 and remained operational until 2011, longer than any other shuttle.
