Disk longsleeve
Our Disk longsleeve top design is a tribute to the once omnipresent floppy disk. Now rarely seen, the floppy disk was the dominant means of data storage and transfer from the 1970s to the early 2000s and could be found in households and offices everywhere.
The floppy disk could be easily held in one hand and then fed into a computer, which would then pull the disk in with a satisfying whir and click.
For those of you who care about such things – and we know you’re out there – our disk illustration shows a high-density 5.25-inch floppy from the mid 1980’s. The high-density formatting represented the very zenith of the 5.25-inch disk, allowing it to store a heady 1.2MB
