A good yarn…

We’re very pleased to add four Beanies to our product range this year.

The basic design behind a Beanie is a relatively simple, classic shape – so its the details that make the difference.

For our Beanies we took a lot of time choosing just the right yarn, and we’re using 100% British and Irish wools, which combine traditional know-how with high technology to produce yarns that are both beautiful and sustainable.

Wool is 100% natural and is a renewable resource – by consuming a simple blend of water, air, sunshine and grass, sheep produce a fleece. This is removed in the spring every year enabling the sheep to stay cool through summer. Wool is fully biodegradeable decomposing in a matter of years, but more importantly wool fibres are strong and durable – perfect for recycling.

Our suppliers also use the very latest energy saving technology incorporating solar panels and a biomass boiler – using only renewable energy without oil or gas.

The end result, of course is a natural product that is beautiful, soft and warm and feels like nothing else.
