Milano 298

Milano 298 is our alternative graphic look at the classic Milan-San Remo road race – at 298 kms the longest one-day race in professional cycling. The predominantly flat course has led the race to be called ‘the sprinters classic’, although the recent addition of small climbs towards the end of the race means climbers now have a chance, too. It is one of the 5 one-day ‘Monuments’ of the cycling year (the others being Tour of Flanders, Paris Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège and Giro di Lombardia).
